Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

You will deploy the squad, manage cash, support program rollouts, and provide feedback to help the team succeed. This role offers growth in a people-focused, fast-paced environment at our Terrell, Texas location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and standards; coaching calmly in a compassionate manner.
• Calm presence during periods of high volume.
• Must obtain food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Able to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place to support guests.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support team through new program rollouts and initiatives.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, and customer review systems).
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure safe food handling in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and address squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed to AM/GM.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed and supported by the GM.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements in a timely manner.
• Regularly review email for updates from the Slice and other sources to keep squad informed.
