Job summary

MOD Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Pasadena, TX. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and ensure top guest experiences while upholding MOD’s standards.

You will coordinate deployment, manage cash, inventory, and safety protocols, and collaborate with the GM to keep the squad performing at its best. This role requires a strong communicator and an empathetic leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards; coach with empathy.
• Calm under high volume conditions.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires.
• Direct squad, ensure guest experiences and smooth operations.
• Manage deployment of staff and adjust as needed during the shift.
• Ensure equipment and systems (online ordering, catering, reviews) are up to standard.
• Maintain food safety and adherence to MOD tools and standards.
• Address squad and guest concerns; escalate when necessary.
• Handle cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use provided tools.
