Job summary

MOD is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Oregon City to lead restaurant operations during shifts, mentor new hires, and ensure adherence to MOD’s standards. You will manage deployment, training, and guest experience while supporting management in daily tasks and program rollouts.

You will oversee opening, midday, and closing duties, maintain equipment, and uphold food safety across the front and back of house, while adapting to peak periods and directing the squad to deliver the best MOD experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentorship, training or leadership ability.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enforce processes and standards with coaching.
• Calm presence during peak hours.
• Obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure the restaurant is welcoming, clean, organized, and runs smoothly.
• Train newly hired/promoted staff and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals like online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety standards across Front and Back of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift and handle refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow checklists for Opening/Midday/Closing and utilize tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed of updates from Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
