Job summary

MOD is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead operations, train staff, and uphold MOD standards across shifts. You will ensure a welcoming, efficient, and compliant environment while guiding the squad through programs and daily tasks.

You will be responsible for deployment, coaching, and maintaining safety and quality across Front and Back of House, with a focus on guest satisfaction and team performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow processes and coach others compassionately.
• Calm presence under high volume.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days of start date or as required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure squad is deployed effectively and tasks are completed accurately.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering, catering, fundraising and customer review systems.
• Ensure food safety standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate to AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and securely, including refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed via email about information from Slice and other sources.
