Job summary

MOD is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, coach and train new hires, and uphold MOD’s standards. You will be the senior squad member at times, guiding the team to deliver the best possible MOD experience for guests.

This role requires at least 1 year in customer service or restaurant settings, strong communication, and the ability to manage deployment, cash handling, and inventory while maintaining safety and quality across front and back of house.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to enforce processes and coach with compassion.
• Capable of remaining calm during high volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety/alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires.
• Ensure squad members are in the right positions and execute deployment charts.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and standard operating procedures in FOH and BOH.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety.
• Address guest and squad concerns and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash handling within the shift and assist with inventory and orders.
• Clear opening/closing checklists and stay updated via internal communications.
