Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor in Portland, OR. You will lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will deploy staff, coach teammates, and collaborate with the GM to ensure smooth service. MOD offers medical, dental, vision insurance, vacation, sick time, 401(k), free pizza and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer, or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and coach on processes and standards.
• Calm presence during high volume.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts and train new hires.
• Support program rollouts and standards in the restaurant.
• Ensure staff deployment and correct tasks during the shift.
• Coach squad members and communicate updates.
• Maintain opening/closing checklists and use available tools.
• Manage cash within the shift and handle refunds as needed.
• Take inventory and place orders as guided by the GM.
• Adhere to shift checklists and stay aligned with MOD standards.
• Communicate information from Slice to the squad for effective shifts.
