Job summary

Red Robin is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management.

You'll act as an ambassador of our standards, resolve guest issues, and help maximize profits while ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality. Opportunities exist to grow with the team through leadership development and cross-role scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts under exempt management.
• Act as an ambassador of Company & Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Supervise peers and resolve guest issues with effective communication and teamwork.
• Possibly work in other hourly roles as needed based on restaurant needs.
• Support training and leadership development for team members.
