Job summary

MOD Pizza in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and mentor new hires, programs, and standards. You will ensure guest experiences, train staff, manage cash, support program rollouts, and uphold MOD’s values.

This role requires at least 1 year in customer service or restaurant settings, strong communication, and a willingness to obtain food safety or alcohol certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts and standards.
• Ensure guests receive outstanding experiences and operations run smoothly.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to shift checklists and utilize MOD tools and standards.
• Stay informed via email communications for squad effectiveness.
