Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead operations during scheduled shifts, mentor team members, and ensure top guest experiences. You will help train new hires and support program rollouts, while modeling MOD’s values on every shift.

You will manage deployment, assist with inventory and orders, handle cash responsibly, and maintain safety standards across back and front of house. A supportive leader who communicates clearly thrives here.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow and enforce processes and coach others.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Must obtain food safety or alcohol certification within 30 days where required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Support training for new hires, program rollouts and standards.
• Be the most senior squad member on shift and guide the team.
• Provide feedback and guidance to squad and respond to guest concerns.
• Manage cash handling and refunds during shift.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Stay informed via email from Slice and other sources for squad relevance.
