Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD’s standards. You will ensure an awesome guest experience, maintain clean, efficient operations, and support management in daily duties.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, sometimes directing the squad and other times taking an active role on the floor, all while embodying MOD’s purpose and values on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training or leading others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, smooth operation and guest experience.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts and initiatives.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals.
• Ensure food safety in both back and front of house.
• Handle cash accurately and manage refunds as needed.
• Take inventory and place orders with the GM.
• Follow shift checklists and communicate updates to the team.
