Job summary

MOD Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor at our Portland location. You will lead the shift, mentor teammates, and ensure smooth operations while delivering the MOD experience to guests.

Responsibilities include training, deployments, inventory, cash handling, and enforcing safety standards. You will engage with leadership to support program rollouts and maintain high guest satisfaction on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven track record as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and coach in a compassionate manner.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Must obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage cert within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires.
• Provide feedback and guidance to squad members and help resolve guest concerns.
• Manage cash handling within the shift and assist with inventory and orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with MOD standards and safety practices on Front and Back of House.
• Maintain deployment charts and support program rollouts and initiatives.
• Uphold restaurant opening/closing checklists and communicate updates to the team.
