Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You’ll guide the squad, deliver guest experiences, and model MOD’s purpose in every interaction. The role requires flexibility to lead or assist as needed to keep the MOD experience strong.

You will manage deployment, communications, and consumables while ensuring safety and adherence to policies, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentorship or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate clearly.
• Ability to follow and coach others on processes and standards.
• Calm presence during periods of high volume.
• Obtain a food safety certification within 30 days of start date.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Support restaurant hours with at least 3 shifts and 18 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift with deployment to ensure the right squad member is in the right place.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad and support new rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment for goals, including online ordering and catering.
• Use MOD tools and standards to keep food safety in back and front of house.
• Listen to concerns and escalate issues to the AM/GM when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including refunds and safe access.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Review emails regularly for updates from Slice and other sources for the squad.
