Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor for Surprise, AZ. You will lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and ensure adherence to MOD standards while delivering a standout guest experience.

As the senior squad member on shift, you deploy the right people, manage cash handling, inventory, and open/close checklists. You will mentor teammates, respond to guest concerns, and model MOD’s values across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate clearly.
• Food safety or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak times.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Train new hires, support program rollouts, and uphold standards.
• Deploy the right squad members and adjust staffing as needed.
• Manage cash handling and inventory; adhere to opening/closing checklists.
• Address guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
