Job summary

MOD Super Fast Pizza, LLC. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and train new hires. You will guide the squad, ensure guests receive a superior MOD experience, and uphold standards across Front and Back of House.

As a senior member on shift, you will deploy the team, coach peers, manage daily operations, and work with management to deliver consistent quality while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring or training others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow processes and coach others.
• Calm under high volume and fast pace.
• Food safety or alcohol beverage certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place and deploys operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet goals.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety.
• Listen to and resolve squad/guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Handle cash within the shift accurately.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to perform tasks.
• Review emails for information from Slice and other sources to keep the squad informed.
