Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Prescott Valley, AZ to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and to train and mentor new hires.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, uphold standards for food safety, and support the squad’s ongoing growth and development. You will oversee deployment, coaching and execution of programs while collaborating with management to maintain a smooth, welcoming MOD experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Follow and enforce processes and standards; coach respectfully.
• Maintain a calm presence during high volume periods.
• Obtain a food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start where required by law.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Able to support restaurant hours with at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering and catering systems.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back of House and Front of House.
• Respond to guest concerns and escalate to GM or AM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with the GM.
• Complete deployment charts and adjust staffing for daily operations.
• Follow opening, mid, and closing checklists and use all available tools.
• Stay informed of company updates from Slice and other sources to support the squad.
