Job summary

Thorntons LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to maintain safety, lead shift duties, and oversee cash and inventory controls. The role includes training team members in food safety and standard practices, while coaching staff and prioritizing tasks during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Food Certifications (Preferred).
• Ability to work multiple shifts and train new team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible leader on shift during times when the Store Manager or General Manager is absent.
• Assign work, oversee inventory control and shift reconciliation procedures.
• Deliver guest service with a 'how may I help you' attitude and look for opportunities to delight guests.
• Practice safe working habits and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Follow cash handling procedures and document discrepancies.
