Job summary

Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, safety, and compliance on every shift. The role includes training teammates, managing inventory and cash processes, and maintaining store standards across multiple shifts.

The Shift Leader will guide team members, ensure adherence to policies, and support store management in delivering Thorntons’ food and beverage program with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Delivers guest service with a helpful attitude and follows management instructions.
• Acts as shift leader in absence of Store/General Manager and may receive additional compensation.
• Maintains safety, cashiering, inventory, and compliance with laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-shift operations in absence of store leadership.
• Ensure safety and compliance with food handling standards.
• Oversee cash handling, price overrides, and register reconciliation.
• Maintain stocked shelves and appealing displays.
• Coach team members and ensure tasks are completed on time.
