Job summary

Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, enforce food safety, manage cash and inventory, and coach team members on service standards. You will lead on shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with policies when store management is absent.

This role requires flexibility across 1st-3rd shifts and a focus on guest satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities include training, adherence to cash handling procedures, maintaining clean facilities, and supporting store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food certifications preferred.
• Ability to train new team members.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader when Store Manager/General Manager is absent.
• Assign work and supervise staff on shift.
• Ensure cash handling and inventory procedures are followed.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Coach and train team members; ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Support compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
