Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations across shifts, ensuring safety, cash handling, inventory control, and training for team members. You will maintain food safety standards and lead by example in service, communication, and adherence to company policies.

The role requires flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, coaching new staff, and upholding Thorntons’ values while delivering a positive guest experience. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Food Certifications (Preferred).
• Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows, stock shelves, make price changes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible leader on shift when Store/General Manager is absent, assign work and oversee inventory and procedures.
• Deliver guest service with a “how may I help you” attitude and delight guests.
• Practice safe working habits and report safety problems to management.
• Adhere to laws on restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery).
• Prepare fresh food meeting food safety standards and obtain required certifications.
