Thorntons is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee on-shift operations, ensure safety, drive customer service, and manage cash handling and inventory. You will train teammates, enforce policies, and support store management during peak hours to ensure smooth store performance.

The role involves multi-shift work, coaching new staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-shift leader when the Store Manager is absent, assign work, manage inventory and shift reconciliation.
• Deliver guest service with a proactive, helpful attitude and follow store management instructions.
• Practice safe working habits and report safety issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and accurately document discrepancies.
• Maintain stock, keep displays replenished, and promote relevant loyalty programs.
• Lead by example, coach team members, and uphold Thorntons core values.
