Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. The successful candidate will manage shifts, assist guests, and ensure compliance with policies, including alcohol/tobacco sales.

Responsibilities include customer service, cash handling, stock rotation, and supervising on-duty associates. This is a full-time role with potential for working 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts and requires adherence to all company standards and safety

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment and to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, recognize denominations and accurately make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello and ensure the store is prepared for Guests at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items including shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console; authorize and record transactions and handle payments.
• Stock shelves, freezers and dip cabinets; rotate stock and check for out-of-date items.
• Maintain security, monitor guests and cash drops, follow Tobacco/Alcohol policies.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor refrigeration temperatures.
• Complete time records and Customer First documents accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
