Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to join our stores and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will supervise daily operations, assist guests, and support team members on 1st–3rd shifts while ensuring safe, ethical, and policy-driven service.

This full-time role requires English communication, cash handling, POS operation, and ability to lift and move merchandise. You’ll help maintain cleanliness, stock, and accurate records, reporting to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment, including POS and gas console.
• Ability to handle currency, checks, and card transactions accurately.
• Ability to count and perform arithmetic for records.
• Ability to stock and rotate merchandise and maintain cleanliness.
• Ability to tolerate cold and warm temperatures during shifts.
• Ability to lift and move items as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet guests warmly.
• Prepare DipSide items and maintain dip cabinet readiness.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions and give change.
• Stock shelves, ice cream, coffee pots, and maintain presentation.
• Maintain store security and follow cash drop procedures.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean and safe, monitor equipment temps.
• Complete time records and related documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
