Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience across all guest interactions and to assist in running the store during 37–40 hours per week on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. The role emphasizes honest, ethical operation and compliance with all laws and company policies.

The position requires English communication, ability to operate POS and gas consoles, and capability to lift and handle stock while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Must be able to understand operating instructions for store equipment and to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, recognize denominations and make change.
• Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers and place for proper display.
• Ability to tolerate extended exposure to cold temperatures and to lift at least 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Overall Guest Services: provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience for every guest.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, sundaes, ice cream and related items.
• Efficient operation of POS and gas console and handling all transactions.
• Stocking merchandise and maintaining clean, presentable displays and equipment.
• Security: monitor store and lot, manage cash drops and follow tobacco/alcohol programs.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean, monitor refrigeration temperatures.
• Reporting: accurately complete time records and guest documents.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
