Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a hands-on supervisor to participate in daily food preparation, cooking, plating, and cashiering while guiding staff in the absence of the General Manager.

You will train crew, monitor shift activities, ensure FIFO and proper cash handling, address customer concerns, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment. Previous restaurant supervisory experience is required; High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations.
• Supervises and directs others in the absence of the General Manager.
• Trains staff and monitors shift activities.
• Ensures FIFO storage and proper labeling procedures.
• Responds to customer complaints per policy and reports to management when refunds are necessary.
• Maintains cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Keeps the restaurant clean and equipment functioning; ensures safety.
