Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous restaurant management/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations, and may supervise in the absence of the General Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Backs up crew, covers breaks as needed, and ensures adherence to Yoshinoya specs and safe handling requirements.
• Completes reports as directed by the General Manager and follows merchandise storage labeling procedures.
• Responds to customer complaints per policy and coordinates refunds with management as needed.
• Trains staff, monitors shift activities, and provides feedback to maintain service quality.
• Rotates inventory using FIFO and ensures accurate cash handling and deposits.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper functioning of all equipment, reports injuries, and ensures a safe work environment.
• Occasionally assists GM with coin orders, cash drops and deposits; attends in-house seminars.
