Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold all brand standards and food safety requirements. You will train new hires, monitor cash handling policies, and support daily operations across multiple plaza teams.

This role requires standing for long periods, flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays, and strong communication with leadership and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
