Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety.

You will train new hires, monitor cash handling, and support daily operations across plaza locations. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required, with a focus on safe, efficient service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
