Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead team members on shift, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements. You will assist in training new hires, monitor cash handling, and ensure daily procedures are completed accurately.

The role requires ability to stand/walk for extended periods, flexible scheduling including days/nights/weekends/holidays, and strong communication with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required or preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing attitude.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments per cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies; report issues to leadership.
