Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure superb customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements across our plaza teams.

You will help train new team members, manage opening/closing duties, operate the POS system, and uphold cash handling policies while delivering a consistent guest experience. Flexible scheduling is available, with a focus on reliable attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
