Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage a designated restaurant shift under the General Manager’s guidance. The role focuses on profitability, food cost control, labor, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

The position emphasizes leadership, guest service, quality, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include hiring and training staff, enforcing policies, and coordinating with the GM on operational game plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead restaurant shifts and meet service standards
• Experience in interviewing, training and disciplining staff
• Strong focus on guest service, quality and cleanliness
• Compliance with health, wage, age, and safety regulations
• Effective communication with GM/Owner and team

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned shift in profitability within guidelines for food cost and labor
• Lead the restaurant team to deliver superior guest service and clean facilities
• Coordinate with GM on current operations and company initiatives
• Participate in interviewing, hiring and training of staff under GM guidance
• Ensure timely completion of required programs, reports and legal documents
• Represent the brand professionally and communicate issues to GM/Owner
• Maintain ability to stand up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform other duties as assigned by GM/Owner
