Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily operations during scheduled shifts. This role reports to the General Manager and supports customer experience, team leadership, and adherence to company policies.

The position may be part-time or full-time, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service, safety, and profitability within the shift. Candidates should be able to work various shifts, stand for long periods, and handle lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shifts.
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations under GM guidance.
• Ensure compliance with health, wage, age, ADA and other regulations.
• Lead restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness.
• Participate in interviewing, training and disciplining employees.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
• Communicate issues to GM/Owner promptly.
