Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations on assigned shifts. The role emphasizes customer experience, profitability, and adherence to company policies under the General Manager's supervision.

Position offers part-time and full-time opportunities, with responsibilities including staff coordination, compliance, and contributing to guest satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop during shifts.
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.

Responsibilities

• REPORTS TO: General Manager.
• Ensure profitable operation of a specific shift while following company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health, wage, age, ADA and other regulations.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Drive food cost, labor, controllables and sales growth within guidelines.
• Provide leadership to achieve guest service, quality and cleanliness standards.
• Assist GM with operations game plans and initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining staff.
• Prepare and complete required programs, reports and documents on schedule.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
