Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager in daily store operations on scheduled shifts. This role represents the face of the brand, ensuring excellent guest service and adherence to procedures. Positions are available as part-time and full-time across locations.

Qualifications

• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through‑out assigned shifts
• Ability to be mobile in walk‑in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Responsibilities

• REPORTS TO: General Manager
• Shift Leaders ensure the restaurant is in full compliance to local, state and federal regulations related to health, hour and wage, age restrictions and ADA
• Ensure knowledge and enforcement of Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness
• Assist GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the GM
• Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate and on schedule
• Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner and communicate issues to the GM/Owner
• Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
