Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Kenilworth, NJ seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new hires and monitor cash handling compliance.

The role includes opening/closing procedures, POS operation, food prep tasks, stock and sanitation, and cross-selling. Must be able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and handle payments per policy.
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand, safety, and company policies and report concerns.
