Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will train new team members and supervise cash handling and daily operations across the plaza.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and a proactive approach to maintaining high service levels in a fast-paced travel-center environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all policies.
