Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Millburn, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards & food safety requirements. This role trains new team members, monitors cash handling compliance, and ensures smooth daily operations within the plaza.

You will oversee opening/closing procedures, operate the POS, and actively cross-sell products while maintaining product knowledge and team performance.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow food handling procedures and maintain product quality.
• Prepare, thaw, cook, package, wrap and clean kitchen tasks.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist training of new staff.
• Follow brand standards, safety rules, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Handle other tasks as assigned.
