Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Ohio seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our travel plazas. You will ensure outstanding service, supervise team members on shift, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

You’ll train new hires, monitor cash handling, and support problem resolution while maintaining efficient service across the plaza, including food prep and POS transactions. This role combines leadership with hands-on store duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments according to policies.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures including prep and stocking.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services and upsell.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Report concerns to plaza leadership.
