Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure exceptional customer service across our travel plazas. The role includes supervising staff, managing cash handling, and enforcing brand standards and food safety requirements.

You will train new team members, monitor compliance with policies, and support daily operations including opening, cash handling, and POS responsibilities across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer inquiries.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety rules, and company policies.
