Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams and ensure exceptional customer service across its travel plazas. The role oversees cash handling, food safety, and daily operations, with opportunities to train new staff and uphold brand standards.

The position requires strong customer service, cash handling experience, and leadership skills, with a flexible schedule across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
