Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-tier customer service, and uphold brand standards across the plaza’s operations. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and support food safety compliance while managing daily activities and team performance.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time; lift at least 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
