Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards across our travel plazas. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling and safety procedures, and support daily operations.

The role requires standing for extended periods, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and a proactive approach to ensuring customers have a positive experience at our plaza locations.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Open/close procedures and checklists in line with policies.
• Operate POS system and handle payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperatures.
• Assist in training new team members and monitor compliance.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
