Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to brand standards and food safety guidelines across our travel plaza locations.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, POS operation, food preparation duties, and ongoing staff training. The role requires flexible scheduling, strong teamwork and a commitment to delivering a positive traveler experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Previous shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
