Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety. The role includes training new staff, managing cash handling, and upholding procedures across the plaza.

You will supervise daily operations, engage travelers with friendly service, and execute opening/closing tasks while maintaining product knowledge and a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Open, daily, and closing procedures and checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system and handle payments following cash handling procedures.
• Follow food safety requirements for wrapping, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products; maintain product knowledge.
• Train new team members and communicate observations to plaza leadership.
• Adhere to brand standards and company policies; perform additional duties as needed.
