Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. in Lawndale, CA is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to actively participate in daily food preparation, cooking, plating and guest relations while supervising crew in the absence of management. You will back up crew, manage breaks, ensure Yoshinoya standards, and complete GM-directed reports.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous restaurant management/supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Read and follow simple instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while intermittently supervising and directing others.
• Serves as back up to crew members and covers breaks as needed.
• Ensures food and beverages are made and presented to Yoshinoya specs and safe handling.
• Completes reports as directed by the General Manager.
• Trains staff and monitors shift activities, providing feedback.
• Maintains FIFO rotation and cash handling procedures.
• Ensures restaurant cleanliness and functioning of all machinery.
