Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to participate daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while intermittently supervising others in the absence of the GM and ASM.

The role covers backup for crew, ensures standards, completes reports, and enforces cash handling and safety policies. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, able to read and write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous restaurant management/supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Read simple instructions, write simple correspondence, speak to customers.
• Basic math with currency handling.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations.
• Supervises and directs others in the absence of the General Manager.
• Trains staff and monitors shift activities with feedback.
• Ensures FIFO and proper merchandise storage; handles reports as directed.
• Maintains cash handling procedures and deposits as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe work environment; communicates with staff and management.
