Yoshinoya America, Inc. in California is seeking a capable restaurant supervisor to manage daily operations, staff guidance, and guest relations in the absence of senior management. You will oversee cashiering, food preparation, and compliance with safety standards on a fast-paced shift.

The role emphasizes staff training, FIFO compliance, and effective communication with crew and management, while ensuring the restaurant remains clean, safe, and financially sound throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous restaurant management/supervisory experience.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while intermittently supervising and directing others, in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Serves as back up to crew members and covers breaks as needed.
• Ensures that all food and beverages are made and presented according to Yoshinoya specifications, procedures, and safe handling requirements.
• Completes reports as directed by the General Manager.
• Follows proper merchandise storage procedures, including labeling procedures.
• Responds to customer complaints per company policy, contacting management when refunds are necessary.
• Effectively trains the staff, and monitors activities throughout the shift, providing consistent feedback.
• Monitors and verifies change funds.
• Communicates effectively with staff and management.
• Attends in-house seminars.
