Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to participate daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations, while intermittently supervising others in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

The role includes backing up crew, ensuring adherence to Yoshinoya specifications, and assisting in keeping the store running smoothly with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Capable of basic math for cash handling and transactions.
• Must follow company procedures and interact professionally with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, and cashiering.
• Supervises crew in the absence of management and covers breaks as needed.
• Ensures FIFO rotation and proper storage labeling of items.
• Maintains cash handling procedures and related reporting.
• Trains staff and provides feedback to improve performance.
• Maintains clean, safe kitchen and dining areas; reports injuries.
• Assists GM with deposits and cash drops when required.
• Communicates effectively with staff and management.
