Yoshinoya America, Inc. seeks a Restaurant Supervisor in California who will participate in daily food preparation, cooking, cashiering, and guest relations while guiding crew in the absence of management. You’ll back up crew, ensure adherence to Yoshinoya standards, and handle reports and cash procedures.

The role requires high school education and prior restaurant supervisory experience. Expect travel up to 25% and a strong focus on safety, training, and customer service.

Formación

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Speak effectively to customers
• Perform basic arithmetic with 10s and 100s in US currency

Responsabilidades

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while intermittently supervising and directing others
• Serves as back up to crew members and covers breaks as needed
• Ensures that all food and beverages are made and presented according to Yoshinoya specifications, procedures, and safe handling requirements
• Completes reports as directed by the General Manager
• Follows proper merchandise storage procedures, including labeling procedures
• Responds to customer complaints per company policy, contacting management when refunds are necessary
• Trains staff and monitors activities, providing feedback
• Ensures FIFO rotation of stock and proper cash handling and deposits
• Ensures restaurant is clean and equipment functions; reports injuries
• Monitors change funds and communicates with staff and management
• Assists GM with coin orders and deposits; attends in-house seminars
