Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to provide added management coverage and supervise daily operations of a unit. The AGM will train staff, ensure cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, and speed of service while role-modeling leadership.

They will supervise shifts, assist with onboarding, and monitor safety, inventory, and financial controls. Flexibility across shifts and strong communication are required for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability for flexible hours and all shifts.
• Strong reading and math abilities and good communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks per standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant (back of house, lobby, restrooms).
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts and ensure fair staff treatment and compliance.
• Provide ongoing coaching to team members and onboarding support.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor inventory and cash procedures; assist with scheduling and payroll duties.
