Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager to provide operating hours coverage and direct supervision at a Taco Bell unit. You will train employees, respond to guest needs, and role model strong skills and behaviors to ensure efficient, clean, and profitable operations.

The AGM will lead shifts, supervise inventory and schedules, and work to meet sales and margin targets while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years restaurant or retail management experience.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license to travel between units.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks per standards.
• Operate POS, process payments, and give change.
• Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts and ensure fair staff treatment.
• Coach and develop team members during onboarding.
• Report safety concerns to manager and HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor inventory and cash procedures; support schedule planning.
• Analyze sales, labor, and expenses to meet margins and targets.
